Every Christmas season I make 'goodie plates' with my family, and take them to neighbors, teachers, and friends. We try to get them done by the first or second week of December. This way mine are distributed before anyone has overindulged and decreased in their appreciation for sugar. So far we've made lots of bread, caramels, truffles, and fudge.
